The dissertation is devoted to the research of constitutional principles of organization and functioning of judicial authority in Ukraine. The author studies the basic conceptual constitutional-and-legal approaches in definition the concept of principles of judicial authority, and the ways of their classification, which are used in the contemporary science of the constitutional law, analyzes the system of constitutional-and-legal principles of judicial authority on the basis of methodology of definition of a place of judicial authority in functioning of the state mechanism. On this base the author gives the characteristic of constitutional-and-legal principles of organization and functioning of judicial authority, shows their importance not only for judicial authority, but for the constitutional design of state authority in Ukraine as well. The dissertation investigates the basic ways of reforming of judicial authority from positions of maintenance the stable constitutional development of Ukraine. It is proved, that the solution of judicial authority reforming problems within the limits of the constitutional law is connected with the maintenance of the appropriate constitutional status of judicial authority, and with realization of the already established in the Constitution and constitutional legislation of Ukraine principles of organization and functioning of judicial authority.
