Vesels'ka G. New Phenomena in Functioning of Coordinative Conjunctions in Ukrainian Language of the End of the XX - the Beginning of the XXI c.

The Dissertation is devoted to the comprehensive research of the functional dynamics of the coordinative conjunctions in the Ukrainian literary language of the end of the XX - the beginning of the XXI c. The quantitative and qualitative changes in the composition of the copulative, adversative, disjunctive, gradative and conjunctive conjunctions were observed, the new phenomena and tendencies in their functioning were investigated on the standards of the three functional styles of the modern Ukrainian literary language of the marked period - artistic, publicistic and scientific. On the standards texts of these styles the realization of the specialized and transposed semantic syntactic functions by the coordinative conjunctions of different semantic groups was analyzed, the possibilities of their usage in the parceling position were explicated, the linguistic and extralinguistic reasons of the functional dynamics of the coordinative conjunctions were grounded.
