Essay

The object is the content of modern textbooks on the newest history of Ukraine; the goal is to find out the status, completeness and coverage of the main trends of models of Ukrainian statehood of 1917-1922 years in modern history textbooks; methods - a historiographical analysis of historiographical synthesis, comparative analysis of historical and historical analysis; the novelty is for the first time on complex problem-chronological scheme a generalized picture of the lighting patterns of Ukrainian statehood of 1917-1922 years in modern school history textbooks has been created, the status of the investigated problem, completeness, copyrights and regional peculiarities of the Ukrainian state lighting models in the academic literature on the history has been defined, trends in the evolution of views on the model of Ukrainian statehood in curricula and textbooks have been defined, more precise characterization of the school textbook as a historiographical phenomenon has been defined, periods of creation of national textbook has been developed, further the idea of using the school textbook as historiographical sources has been developed . The results - the peculiarities of school history textbooks as a specific historiographical source models has been presented, characteristics of Ukrainian statehood of 1917-1922 years as an object in the light of modern basic school and regional history books have been given, the evolution of views on the state model has been given, the main periods of development of modern textbooks have been defined, and the main historiographical achievements and trends of each of them are presented; the sphere of usage is the learning process.
