Tiunin V. Assistance to the members of criminal organizations and concealment of their criminal activity: criminal-legal, criminological characteristics and prevention

Groundings and principles of criminalization of the crime, provided in Article 256 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, are scrutinized. Objective and subjective features of the crime are analyzed. Criminological characteristics of assistance to the members of criminal organizations and concealment of their criminal activity are provided, including major quantitative-qualitative indicators the above mentioned crimes. General notion and components of the system of prevention measures of the crime are perfected. On the basis of the received results drawbacks of Article 256 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine are indicated and corresponding suggestions directed at the perfection 256 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine are made.
