The dissertation presents a complex theoretical analysis of legal regulation of the state registration of ius in rem in the sphere of real estate. The introductory part discovers historical preconditions which brought to life and developed the legal institute of state registration of real estate property rights starting from the times of Kyiv Rus until nowadays. The author analyses the systems of registration of property rights to real estate in various world jurisdictions, reflecting their positive features and suggesting which of them are apt to be incorporated into domestic law.
