Sopelkin I. Constitutional-Legal Regulation of the Organization and Activities of the Trade Unions in Ukraine

The thesis is dedicated to the integrated research of the Constitutional-legal regulation of the organization and activities of the trade unions in Ukraine. The historical aspects of the organization and activities of the trade unions in Ukraine have been analyzed. On clarifying the essence and the main constitutional-legal features of the trade unions the definition of the notion "the trade union" has been proposed. The research of the organization and activities of the trade unions as objects of the constitutional-legal regulation has been carried out. The main constitutional aspects of the trade unions' organization and activities as well as their problems according to the Law of Ukraine "On trade unions, their rights and guarantees of their activities" and other sources of the constitutional law have been cleared up. The propositions to improve the constitutional-legal regulation of the organization and activities of the trade unions in Ukraine have been offered. Foreign experience of the legal status and mechanism of the trade unions regulation of certain countries has been studied.
