Essay

The survey item is the the geometry functioning of planetary toroidal executive body (PTEB) of mining machine. The purpose of the study is to identify the geometric characteristics of the efficiency of the process of rock-destroying, to determine the criteria for their influence on the process as the basis for the cor-rection of a set of values of structural and kinematic parameters of PTEB in the case of a negative influence. The Methods of Reseach and apparatus - Methods of analysis and differential geometry, geometric modeling methods of objects, phenomena and processes, the methods of the theory of rock and coal, and the theory of planetary executive of mining machines. Theoretical and practical results are as follows - revealed the geometric characteristics of the process of rockdestroying and determined their relation with the main structural and kinematic parameters PTEB of mining machine, recommendations for testing for compliance with design criteria for the geometric and kinematic parameters of PTEB are worked out, they are taken as a result of force and other calculations, which allows the correction of set of values of structural and kinematic parameters of PTEB, according to the identified depending on the geometric characteristics of the process of rock-destroying. The Novelty of the work is that in the first time and in the general case, the trajectories obtained by the parametric equations of the working tool PTEB and determined the surface carrier trajectories, as a surface treatment that provides the basis for determining the geometric characteristics of the process rock-destroying , in the first time there were made a comprehensive analysis of criterial relations of rock-destroying with geometric characteristics of structural and kinematic parameters PTEB of mining machines, supplemented by the geometric characteristics of the conditions of implementation of efficient schemes of PTEB cutting mining machines, refined approach to defining the basic laws of geometry of chip PTEB. The degree of implementation - the results of the investigations have been imple-mented at JSC "Gorlovsky mashinostroitel", in Donetsk National Technical University (Ukraine).
