Essay

An antropocentric characteristic is fundamental in the aesthetical paradigm of Franko's writings. Ivan Franko forms the character in his stories based on the psychological considerations. According to the author the hero is a person who is fully in line with the demands of the life in the course of overcoming its difficult moments. I. Franko emphasizes the subordination of a person as a moral being to only a moral duty (formulated by I. Kant), that requires the person to demonstrate the exemplary conduct in respect of eveiybody. In some cases writer defines the hero in accordance to the latter's profession.
