Essay

The thesis is devoted to working out the organizational and technical solutions for increasing efficiency of stadiums reconstruction. In this work the architectural and design, planning and volumetric solutions of the newly-erected and reconstructed stadiums have been considered. Key design solutions for stadium stand roof structure and the requirements for stands have been examined. In the work the review of the home and foreign scientific publications devoted to the design, organizational and technical solutions, which are taken when building and reconstructing stadiums, has been made. There are the investigation results of the design and organizational-technical solutions for stadium reconstruction in the European countries and Ukraine. The main subject of inquiry in the thesis is the Metallist stadium in Kharkov that has been reconstructed by the home building companies during its operation. In the work the problem of reconstruction planning has been set and solved. This problem includes working out a schedule providing implementation of the specified disassembling and building and construction works at a stated time using the specified quantity of non-storage resource so that duration of reconstruction and the standstill costs of the client may be minimum and the suspension periods may coincide with the periods of holding matches. The represented in the work methodology of developing a network model allows efficiently control the stadium reconstruction process and, in view of changing the data that cause changing the parameters of the network model, is supposed to analyze these changes, correct the data and repeat the structural and schedule planning stages. In the work the construction materials for dampproofing coating of the reinforced concrete construction of the stadium stands and the technological solutions for applying the dampproofing layer have been investigated.
