Berezhna I. Forming of the investment potential in the transformation economy

The thesis is primarily dedicated to the research and further analysis of the main specifics of the investment potential formation in the transformation economy. All analytical approaches defining the substance of the investment potential were reviewed. The investment potential in the context of the institutional theory of the proprietorship as well as the ambience where the potential is shaped was also analysed. Analysing the investment potential from the institutional support point of view, it is absolutely necessary to take into account not only investment resources and capacities, but also involve institutional potentials of generating profits from investment activities. The specifics of the institutional support to formation of the national investment potential in the transformation economy were investigated along with the government's and other governmental institutions' impact on the restructuring of the national investment potential. A crucial role in the innovative market development model, as under the free market conditions innovative activities are first of all related to the identification of potential investment funds and investment forms. The national investment potential primarily derives from the globalization processes in the economy. The potential of the foreign investment activity in Ukraine was analysed.
