Subject of research – process of forming fibre flax varieties productivity, regularities of plants’ growth and development depending on agrotechnical methods of growing. Objective of research - to determine variety peculiarities of growth, development and forming fibre flax productivity depending on agrotechnical ways and improve the technology of its growing. Methods of research - field, visual, laboratory, statistical, calculating comparative. Complex influence of sowing methods and seed sowing rate and mineral fertilizers doses on the functioning of assimilative apparatus, accumulation of vegetative mass and dry matter, elements of yield structure, yield capacity and its quantitative indices for different fibre flax varieties are determined. The technology of fibre flax varieties growing is improved and scientifically well-founded that provides obtaining 4.80-5.02 t/h of fibre and 0.88-0.97 t/h of seed in the conditions of northern Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. Results of research during 2006-2009 are introduced in agro-industrial enterprises of Ovruch and Novohrad-Volynskyy districts Zhytomyr region on the area of 170 hectares. Field of using – agricultural production
