Dmitrenko O. Hygienical estimation of the influence of the chloroform in drinking water on the health of the population

Dissertation is devoted to the estimation of influence of chloroform as the by-product of chlorinating in drinking water, on the population's health. Comparative estimation is given to the features of chlorinating process and chemical composition in drinking water for the different types of initial water which are the determining factors for the chloroform's concentration. Regularities of formation and distributing of levels of chloroform's contamination in drinking water during process of its preparation and transporting to the users are set. High-quality and quantitative dependence between chloroform's content in a drinking water and indexes of diseases of population separate nosologies of illnesses of digestive system, urinary system, and also by malignant neoplasmes of different localizations is determined. The individual and population carcinogenic and uncarcinogenic risks for the population at influence of chloroform in drinking water is calculated. On the basis of methodology of estimation of risk's factors in the system of the sanitary-hygenic monitoring at quality and safety of drinking water main directions of prophylactic measures to prevent of negative influence of chloroform in drinking water on a public health are developed.
