The dissertation presents the analysis of modern foreign and national doctrine, legislation and court practice of money liabilities. The main criteria of money liability that distinguish it from other liabilities the subject of which is money is determined. It is offered to classify the money liabilities into contractual and delictual only. The main requirements specified by legislations of the developed countries to proper money liabilities are reviewed; they are subjects, place, term, object and manner. The special attention is given to a responsibility for failure or improper fulfilment of money liabilities; the existing means of influence on debtor relating to proper fulfilment of money liabilities are described. The issue of legal regulation of collisions’ solutions in the part of money liabilities is examined.
