The aim of the referat is a take into literary usage the term "writers of the background"; to open the difference of artistic representetion of reality in these writer"s creative work in context of history of literature of the period from the 19 th century till the beginning of the 20 th century.Methods: historicaly-geneticaly and historicaly-functional while analizing legitimation of historicaly-literatury process as dynamicaly system. There is given a categorical status of nation"s writers of the background the history of Ukrain literature of the period from the 19 th century till the beginning of the 20 th century is orded and comprehented in a new way. Can be applied in the higer education.
