3. The object is speech strategy of suppressing in political discurs. The aim is to describe the category of implicity as a realization of strategy of suppressing in political discurs. The methods - descriptive analytical method, method of conceptual analysis, method of contextual analysis, supervision, discurs-analysis, statistical review. The novelty - first in Ukrainian linguistic science such fundamental investigation of indirectly given information's functional possibilities and their role in the interpretation is accomplished. The investigation presents further development of communicative strategies' classification, in particular strategy of suppressing, basic description of which is the using of implicit information. Political discurs is considered from the point of view of strategy of suppressing's realization in it; facilities and types of implicit information are described, the features of its functioning are found out in political communication; results of the investigation can be used in the scientific studies devoted to the analysis of semantics and functioning of language units, and for writing of train aids, in the lecture courses of higher educational establishments from modern Ukrainian language, analysis of the text, special seminars and special courses from communicative and cognitive linguistics, pragmalinguistics at higher school, and also can be taken into account in development of methodologies of linguistic examination of political texts, to help speech-writers and political strategists in their work.
