Dubinets Z. Euphemisms in Ukrainian Language (on press materials).

The object of work: euphemisms in the texts of the Ukrainian press of the XXI century, the purpose of: a semantic exercise, functional analysis and derivation of euphemisms in the contemporary newspaper discourse; methods: descriptive, contextual analysis, descriptive method opposition, scientific novelty: the first Russian-language newspaper on the material of discourse conducted a comprehensive analysis of euphemistically nominations revealed evfemii phenomenon in psychological, social and linguistic aspects of the proper, refined, and optional main features of euphemisms systematically investigated types of substitutes, have been identified and justified by the difference between evfemieyu and related linguistic phenomena, described the role of periodicals in the evfemizatsii, analyzed the function of euphemisms, topics and the scope, methods evfemizatsii in the press, found their dependence on the characteristics of newspapers and journalistic style and typology of the publication; results: Materials will be used in the work of lexicographic practice at the conclusion of a dictionary of euphemisms, synonymous dictionary, in lexicology - the study of synonyms in style - with processing of lexical and phraseological of style, can be used when writing textbooks, developing lecture courses of higher education institutions of lexicology, stylistics, culture of speech.
