The Dissertation research covers a topical problem - design methods of adaptive abilities for the first-year students to the musical education in Pedagogical Universities. The essence, content, structures of adaptation to the education in higher educational establishment are stipulated in this scientific work. Specific characters of the musical education in Pedagogical Universities are specified. Criteria, aspects as well as levels of the development of adaptive abilities for the first-year students to the musical education are identified. In the Dissertation a methodological model of the development of adaptive abilities for the first-year students to the musical education in Pedagogical Universities is disclosed and experimentally inspected.
