Object: the processes of construction, application and development of the economic security of commercial enterprises. Aim: to develop theoretical and methodological principles and approaches to forming a system of economic security of trade enterprise by designing and modeling of its components on the principles of optimization. Methods: a combination of logical and historical approaches, abstraction, analysis and synthesis, systematization and generalization, economic statistics: random observations, grouping, multivariate statistics (cluster) analysis, system analysis. Results: The in depth theoretical principles and methodology developed and applied recommendations for modeling the formation and management of economic security of commercial enterprise. New: formed system of economic security of trade enterprise based on a formalization of objectives and criteria of economic security.
