Chernetska V. “The Diary” by Volodymyr Vynnychenko: literature and psycho-autobiographical discourse.

The thesis is devoted to the research of “The Diary” by Volodymyr Vynnychenko on the basis of issued and handwritten notes of 1911-1951. The author’s intentions which demonstrate the features of the memoirs genre are interpreted in the work. In the thesis we analyzed “The Diary” as a creative laboratory of an artist, realization of the diary plans and conceptions of a new world order, happiness as the main law of the human existence, publicistic component of the author’s artistic thinking. Psycho-autobiographical discourse of the research reveals the displays of the author’s personality which are actualized on the level of solving a choice problem, clarifying the syncretical nature of the creative thinking, outlining the author’s sphere of intercourse for the thorough study of his biography.
