The thesis deals with the mechanisms of information support of public power in Ukraine. The essence of the concept of "public authority, the basic approaches to the definition of the term" information support mechanisms. It was found that the most important factor determining the effectiveness of the government, it is the level of information, degree equipped with modern technical, technological and telecommunications systems.
