In the thesis, the basic stages of formation are analyzed and periodization of development of the specialized periodicals is offered from the publishing of 1994-2006. The complex research of the journal "Drukarstvo" is accomplished, the prerequisites and history of its foundation as well as development are studied. The peculiarities of the typological traits, goal, task, author's collective, design, inner structure are characterized. The work with readers is researched; the main problem-thematic tendencies of the publications are outlined; contribution of the leading figures of the journal in its positioning is elucidated.
