Essay

The thesis explores areas of constitutional reform, the evolution of election law, genesis of the іnstitute of parliamentarism and multi-party system, the development of the institute of presidency, forming a democratic model of local government in Poland, Hungary and Slovakia. This thesis concludes on a unified theoretical and applied models of transition to democracy in Poland, Hungary and Slovakia on the basis of common preconditions for democratic transformation, the effectiveness of the system of social and political reforms and the achievement of regime of consolidated democracy.
