Object of research: state regulation of sphere of town-planning and architecture in Ukraine at regional level. Purpose: theoretical ground of perfection of mechanisms of state regulation of sphere of town-planning and architecture at regional level and development of recommendations on their introduction. Methods: approach of the systems, abstracting, idealizations, comparisons, formalizations, analysis and synthesis, induction, deduction. Results: in theory grounded and developed recommendation on perfection of mechanisms of state regulation of sphere of town-planning and architecture at regional level. Novelty: directions of perfection of mechanisms of state regulation of sphere of town-planning and architecture at regional level are certain; it is suggested to carry out the rating estimation of building subjects; the mechanism of realization of a state architecturally-build control is improved. It is inculcated in activity of public authorities the Kharkiv region. Areas of use: public administration, local self-government, training and retraining of civil servants and public servants of local self-government.
