The thesis is dedicated to the study of salmonella toxins influ-ence on secretory activity and metabolic status of human blood monocytes and neutrophils in vitro. For the first time the S. сhol-erae-suis lipopolisaccharide and enterotoxin ability to stimulate se-cretion by monocytes and neutrophils of interleukins-1, -6, -8, tumor necrosis factor, prostaglandin Е2 and leukotriene С4, to inten-sify processes of lipid peroxidation, to inhibit the activity of antioxi-dant enzymes and to modulate the intracellular contents of cyclic and adenyl nucleotides is established.
