Kuzmenko T. Legitimation of political power: the value dimension.

The thesis is devoted to research problems of theoretical and practical issues concerning the influence of a value component on the legitimation process of political power. Theoretical principles of the research issues are defined. A number of functions that perform values in the process of political power legitimation is identified. The main groups of values, affecting on the process of power-legitimation are outlined. In value dimension are analyzed the main levels of power legitimation, the phenomenon of legitimation, some aspects of delegitimation process and also important conditions and mechanisms of power legitimation based on values. The level of legitimacy of political power in Ukraine is analyzed. Actualization factors of the value component investigation in the process of power legitimation in a native dimension are defined. The main reasons of power delegitimation in Ukrainian reality are determined and proposed the author's vision of improving the conditions of power legitimacy in value dimension.
