The dissertation is devoted to study of current theoretical and practical issues of prevention illegal handling a shooting-iron, ammunition, explosive devices and substances. The modern state of the illegal handling with shooting-iron in Ukraine was analyzed, the determinants of this phenomenon were researched. The legislation of foreign countries in part of criminal responsibility for studied crimes was analyzed. The proposals on the improvement legislation in part of prevention illegal handling a shooting-iron were developed.
