Object: generic technical training of the pupils of core schools in Poland. Aim of research: elaboration and theoretical approvement of methodology of technics learning motivation of pupils in the six-year basic school in Poland. Practical significance: methods of teaching pupils at technology lessons have been improved, a set of tests for defining the level of technical competencies of the core school pupils has been compiled. Methods: analysis, generalization, examination of pedagogical experience, observation, conversation, questionnaire design, tests, pedagogical experiment, mathematical processing of data.
