Kofman B. Іnternational electoral standards and their implementation in the legislation of Ukraine

The thesis has disclosed the legal nature and the content of international electoral standards as well as their importance in updating the institutions of public power and in the democratic processes going on in the country and on the international scale. The author has also examined the issues of development, legitimacy, legalization and codification. The thesis presents the study of their doctrinal and regulatory framework as well as the study of their definitive and structural characteristics. The author has developed his own definition of the international electoral standards and provided detailed analysis of the problematic issues in formation of a unified system of international electoral standards and content specifications.
