Essay

The thesis deals with the historical evolution of Ukrainian Forests' fire protection standards since X to XXI century. The impact of economic, social, political, environmental factors on the law-making process in the area of forests' fire protection is analyzed. Reception of pre-revolutionary fire protection law in the Soviet and in the modern forestry legislation is presented. Proposals of improving contemporary forestry legislation are worked out on the base of historical experience.
