Mykhailiuk G. The Civil Legal Regulation of Non-Traditional Banking Transactions and Services.

The thesis is devoted to the problem of civil legal regulation of non-traditional banking transactions and services, in particular to forfaiting (is it a technical term or the word forfaiting), transactions with precious metals, trust and intermediary services, organization of value safekeeping services and Internet banking. The research of the concept of non-traditional banking transactions and services was conducted by the author, their types and the mechanisms of realization were determined. The thesis is the first comprehensive study, in which the questions of theoretical and practical character have been considered in relation to the realization of banking transactions which are wide-spread abroad but are not so popular in Ukraine. Special attention has been paid to the analysis of the practical approach in the above mentioned transactions and services taking into account the experience of the domestic and overseas banks. Using the results obtained the author has worked out proposals on the development of the regulation and examined banking transactions and services.
