The dissertation is a comprehensive study of the legal nature of relations of the supply of natural gas to household consumer. Research of legal mechanism of natural gas supply to household consumer is based on the analysis of social, technical, and economic interrelations of subjects involved in the legal relation. The definition of natural gas is formulated as a specific type of product, and a system analysis of the contract of natural gas supply to household consumer as a subtype of the contract of supply of energetic and other resources through the downstream supply chain that regulates the material legal relations is made.
