Cause-and-effect relations of the state sovereignty transformation in the conditions of globalization have been researched for the first time in the domestic political science on a comprehensive basis, peculiarities and methods of the state sovereignty functioning in the conditions of present-day international tendencies have been revealed.Effect of globalization processes upon sovereignty of transit societies has been shown. Problems of formation of identity as the basis for strengthening and practical implementation of sovereignty of Ukraine have been revealed.
