Pasichniy D. Surgical treatment of unhealing wounds of extremities by way of application of exodermotension and cryotherapy

The thesis is dedicated to the improvement of regeneration of skin in the areas of unhealing wounds and ulcers, first of all in foot and shin by way of dosated glue stretching of the area around the wound and its cooling, improvement of the method of planimetric control of such regeneration processes. Developed is the method of atraumatic adhesive exodermotension and cryotherapy as well as the method of measurement of wound area for the benefit of surgical treatment of unhealing wounds and ulcers. The treatment under consideration provides replacement of defect by innervated skin with the formation of small-sized scar - tissue that has features of skin type regenerate, reduction in the terms of rehabilitation of patients with injuries of supporting tissues of foot by 1.5 times. The achieved precision in the detection of area changes at the level of 0.4-1% allows evaluating the effectiveness of skin regeneration measures. The main results of the research can be used to increase the effectiveness of aiding in the departments of surgical specialization.
