Thiba M. Effect of statins on the parameters structure and function of left ventricular in postinfarction patients

The object of the modification of left ventricular remodelling in post-infarction patients under statins therapy; the goal - improved forecasting, prevention and correction of postinfarction left ventricular remodeling; methods - clinical, biochemical, imunophermentic, instrumental, statistical; novelty - a relation of postinfarction left ventricular remodeling with the serum levels of matrix metalloproteinase 9 and demonstrated the possibility of reducing the risk of postinfarction left ventricular remodeling with the use of atorvastatin in high doses, especially in patients with levels of matrix metalloproteinase 9 more than 110 ng / ml determined on days 3-14 of myocardial infarction; the observed data were introduced into practice of the Central clinical hospitals № 1, №5 (Donetsk), Slavyansk municipal hospital after named Lenin, Selidov central municipal hospital and also in the educational process of Donetsk National Medical Universities.
