Boiko O. Mechanism of realization civil rights of citizens through local initiatives

This dissertation presents theoretical and methodological basis for exercising civil rights of the citizens through local initiatives, analysis of scientific research that has been done in the area of this issue, terminology definition of the citizens' right and the principles of citizens' rights protection through the system of local government. This dissertation also introduces the research and analysis of structural and legal basis for local initiatives in Ukraine, investigation of local referendum, civil hearing as the constituent parts of the mechanism of exercising rights of the citizens through local initiatives; it evaluates the role of civil communities and their representation in the system of citizens' rights exercising through local initiatives.
