Brezhnyeva-Yermolenko O. Intellectual capital as a factor of new economic

Research object: forming process and making use of intellectual capital taking into account the specific of a new economy development. Research purpose: research of theoretical and methodological bases of intellectual capital development, finding out of its role as a determinative factor of new economy formation, and a substantiation of the practical recommendations in relation to improvement of the forming process and making use of intellectual capital in Ukraine. Research methods: system-holistic method, historical and logical method, method of scientific abstraction, functional method, statistical methods, dialectical method. Results, novelty: a high-quality new functional role of the creative capital in the composition of the intellectual capital was grounded; the cyclic character of the intellectual capital development on the basis of complex estimation of development efficiency of the national intellectual capital; definition of the term "intellectual capital" on the basis of system-holistic method was developed; scientific presentations of features intercommunication between the categories "human capital" and "intellectual capital" were improved; has had the further development a substantiation of the main contradictions of the forming process and making use of the intellectual capital in Ukraine; has had the further development disclosing of a role of the government and subjects of socio-economic relations in realization of the intellectually innovative transformations in the country.
