In the thesis, the impact of high-power laser pulses in the shock waves generation mode on materials in the presence of transparent condensed medium is studied. A theoretical model of pressure and temperature field within material under laser treatment in transparent condensed medium is proposed. The analytical formula for shock wave pressure is based on geometrical refraction of light by optical system and transparent condensed medium. The results of modelling allow choosing the optimal conditions of laser treatment by Q-switched laser GOS-1001 with LiF modulator. The transmission spectrum of LiF modulator with defects is studied. A method for the introduction of nanotubes into a solid matrix has been proposed and the experimental results on release of energy associated with shock wave propagation are analysed.
