Rodchyn Z. West Ukrainian drama of the 20-s - 30-s years of the XX-th century: genre poetics.

The thesis presents the research of poetics peculiarities of plays and genre-style paradigm which was characteristic for Ukrainian drama of the 20-s - 30-s years of the XX-th century. In the process of the analysis the question of ideological and aesthetic drama completeness on Western Ukrainian territory during the study period is found out. Evolution of genre-style drama paradigm of the 20-s - 30-s years of the XX-th century, poetics, system of images, motifs Ukrainian dramatists used are examined. Unknown and little-known plays are taken into scientific concideration.According to the content West Ukrainian plays mainly depict historical, social, religious and personal-psychological themes.West Ukrainian drama of 20-s - 30-s years of the XX-th century development indicates the evolution of poetic-style model of above-mentioned literature genre from ethnographical-everyday realism of educational direction to modernism with certain avant-gardism elements. Thereby style polyphony contributed to various genre fullness of drama. Therefore the existence of both "classical" drama genres (drama, comedy, tragedy) and other genre kinds (melodrama, tragicomedy, drama scenes) in West Ukrainian drama "between two World Wars" is obvious.
