Minich N. Genre Peculiarities of Ukrainian Intellectual Novel (V. Domontovich, V. Shevchuk)

Objective is to study systematically and analytically a number of specific characteristics of a peculiar genre subtype - Ukrainian intellectual novel - based on the novels by V. Domontovych and Valeryy Shevchuk. This genre subtype of Ukrainian novel is for the first time perceived as a heterogeneous phenomenon which is characterized by a number of common features, such as the choice of a specific character of the creative nature, widespread use of intertext as a means of text creation and text perception in the process of reading. Methods: receptive esthetics, literature commentary, hermeneutics, intertextual analysis, semiotic method and historical criticism. Field of application - higher school.
