Dissertation contains the complex of questions of theoretical, methodical and practical character in relation to prevention of illegal appeal of shooting-iron in Ukraine and use of experience of international law-enforcement bodies. The author's definition of transnational illegal trade in arms as one of elements of illegal appeal of weapon in the world is formulated, essence of which consists in organization of sale of armament despite an international and/or national legislation, which is accompanied moving of weapon, his parts or components, from one country to other.
