Sinkevych N. Stylistically marked vocabulary of contemporary Ukrainian traditional and electronic dictionaries.

The thesis deals with the investigation of dictionary description of contemporary Ukrainian words belonging to bookish and colloquial style which is fixed in a dictionary by means of corresponding remarks. 9800 dictionary entries of Big Explanatory Dictionary of contemporary Ukrainian and electronic dictionaries are analyzed. Typical ways of bookish and colloquial vocabulary explanation are compared; certain drawbacks of entries are described. The peculiarities of entries referring to the above-mentioned words in Explanatory dictionary and electronic entries are compared; some recommendations concerning their optimization are presented.
