Essay

The thesis is devoted to explaining the patterns of oxygen balance at experimental acute respiratory distress syndrome and effectiveness of prophylactic Mexydol and Corvitin usage. It was found the increasing of tension and the total content of carbon dioxide in arterial and venous blood, significantly reducing of blood oxygen saturation parameters and parameters of oxygenation within two hours after acute respiratory distress syndrome modeling. Also there were activated processes of lipid peroxidation, increased enzyme activity level of antioxidant protection, the content of glutathione was reduced and level of ceruloplasmin was increased. Immunological reaction was manifested by a significant increasing of serum circulating immune complexes and immunoglobulins M and G. Similarly, the content of products of endogenous intoxication was increased too. Substantial destructive processes were developing in lung tissue, liver and heart. Higher prophylactic efficacy of combined Meksydol and Corvitin application was experimentally proven. It improves not only the performance of researched parameters within two hours of the experiment, but also increases a number of survival animals.
