Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the complex, systematic analysis of microtoponyms of central and eastern districts of L’viv region at the synchronic section. For the first time semantic analysis of the motivated lexemes of these items was conducted, it was also identified structural and word-formative features of regional microtoponyms, and disclosed their ethno-cultural context. It was introduced more than 17 000 microtoponyms into scientific use, collected in the course of expeditions and questioning of respondents.
