Essay

The object of study – the process of plant growth and development and the formation of the efficiency of buckwheat varieties depending on the methods of growing technology. Purpose – to improve and optimize the technological methods of cultivation of buckwheat for increasing of its productivity. Methods – field, mathematical and statistical, laboratory, balance, complex-normative, technical and economic. Results: Improved technology of growing of buckwheat, which provides a yield at the level of 2,3-2,6 t per ha. Production testing and implementation was performed in the State Enterprise «Experimental farm of Kirovohrad Institute of AIP of NAAS», and in farms of different forms of ownership of Znamenka and Kirovohrad districts of Kirovograd regions on the area of 1511 ha. Novelty – under the conditions of North Steppe of Ukraine were improved the basic elements of technology of growing of buckwheat: were optimized the methods of sowing, clarified spring and summer terms of sowing depending on the level of mineral nutrition and established the effectiveness of application of calculated norms of fertilizers, plant growth regulators and microbial preparation for the increasing of the productivity of crop. Was proved the expediency of displacement of seeding terms to earlier based on the analysis of temperature and the reaction of plants on changing of environmental conditions over the past 10 years. For the first time in the conditions of Northern Steppe of Ukraine was defined the productivity of photosynthetic potential of buckwheat in different periods of sowing and backgrounds power. Was economically substantiated the expediency of the studied elements of technology of growing of buckwheat. Sector – agriculture.
