Shay R. Law-enforcing function of law-governed state: theoretical and practical aspects.

The thesis deals with comprehensive scientific research of theoretical and practical aspects of the legal state law-enforcement function. Theoretical and methodological principles of the legal state law-enforcement function research are exposed. Existing theoretical and legal approaches concerning understanding of role and place of law enforcement authorities in the legal state are generalized. From the positions of state and law theory the scientific approaches are considered in relation to the nature of law and its role in state forming and functioning. The role and place of law-enforcement authorities is analysed in the legal state through uncovering of law-enforcement activity nature and essence, and law and order and legality are considered as the substantial features of the legal state. The activity of law-enforcement authorities system is generalized as the subject of the legal state law-enforcement function realization through the coordination of law-enforcement activity in the legal state.
