Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the cultural-philosophical analysis of Internet communications development from the point of view of their interaction with the culture of a globalized information society. The main attention is paid to the identification of cultural-philosophical and semiotic aspects of the problem. An explication of such notions as "Internet communication" and "Internet culture" is made by means of comparing their content with the content of such notion as "Information society culture". Lexical uniqueness of the semiotic system of the Internet communications is revealed by the example of language practices that function on the basis of a language customary usage. The author shows a predestination of hypertext to be a cross-point of technology, information, communication and ethical components of the Internet culture and through their paradigmatic characteristics not only to coordinate communicative activity of the Web users, but also harmonize the Internet culture with the information culture of society as a whole.
