The thesis deals with the theoretical and experimental study of the formation of future music teachers' music intonation thinking in the process of professional training. The methodology consists of two components: the organizational component, based on IDEFO structural functional model, and the practical component, which provides for organizing the process of musical intonation thinking formation, accumulating typical intonations, developing the ability to differentiate the musical flow and comprehending musical phenomena, genre-style attribution; evolution of purposeful analysis skills, creating music to the model and improvising, positive evaluation of artistic performance and peer creative recognition etc.
