Essay

The aim of this thesis is to develop a complex measures for providing an ecological safety of sewage polluted by organic solvents. The measures include sewage cleaning from mono-pollution (adsorption on natural dispersed sorbents) and pollution prevention by selection of specific organic solvents and returning them into the technological process (industrial chromatography). Hexane adsorption by natural dispersed sorbents (bentonite, glauconite, palygorskite) was experimentally investigated. There were developed kinetic curves of the adsorption isotherms of sorption, which are described by Henry isotherm. The adsorption process was investigated. The successful experimental check of the suggested models for seperating 2- and 3-component mixture of organic pollutant solvents showed the correspondence of the model for a standart content balance and for double balance of modificator-solvent. There was developed a technological scheme of the process of sewage cleaning which is polluted by one organic solvent (adsorption technology with use of natural dispersed sorbents) and of the process of separating of organic solvents mixtures (the technology of chromatographic separation).
