Essay

Low-frequency dielectric spectra of the GaSe, InSe and In4Se3 layered crystals on frequencies 20 Hz - 100 kHz at different temperatures have been studied. The model has been proposed explaining temperature dependence of dielectric constant according to inverse Arrhenius law in the range dominating by spectra characteristic for medium with hopping charge carrier movement. Strong dependence of disperse dielectric constant of GaSe crystals has been revealed on uniaxial strain, applied normal to layers. In GaSe, InSe:Cd and In4Se3 crystals the correlation of dielectric relaxation with kinetic photoconductivity decay has been revealed.
