Object - [2+4]-cyclocondansation reactions, heterocyclisations, thionation, acylation, tandem reactions; aim - synthesis of thiopyrano[2,3-d]thiazole-carboxylic acids and their functional derivatives and search among them high-active and low-toxic compounds as potential drugs; methods - organic synthesis, NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, X-ray analysis, elemental analysis, pharmacological screening, molecular docking; novelty - new synthesis methods of novel thiopyrano[2,3-d]thiazole-carboxylic acids and their derivatives were developed, biological activity of the synthesized compounds was studied; the outcomes - new mono- and dicarboxylic acids derivatives from the thiopyrano[2,3-d]thiazole series were synthesized in stereoselective hetero-Diels-Alder and tandem reactions; biologically active substances with high antiviral, antitumor, anti-trypanosomal, antimalarial and anti-inflammatory activities were identified; the recommendations for design of potential antiviral and anti-trypanosomal agents were proposed based on data of molecular docking studies in silico; obtained results were introduced into educational and scientific processes of National University "Lviv Politechnic", National Pharmaceutical University, Zaporizzhia State Medical University; area - pharmacy.
